PEngPathwayBy using PEngPathway (the "app"), you agree to these terms.
1. What PEngPathway is
PEngPathway is an independent study and organization tool for people preparing for Canadian professional engineering (P.Eng.) licensure, including the National Professional Practice Examination (NPPE). It is not affiliated with or endorsed by any engineering regulator, Engineers Canada, or Geoscientists Canada.
2. Not professional, legal, or exam-outcome advice
Content, practice questions, and Advisor responses are educational and provided for general study only. They are not legal advice and do not guarantee licensure, exam success, or any particular outcome. Official regulator requirements and decisions always prevail — verify anything important with your regulator. Practice questions are original items and are not actual exam questions.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. Do not enter confidential, proprietary, or third-party personal information (for example, in project records or Advisor questions).
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: no unlawful use, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse engineer it, no scraping, and no using the Advisor to generate content that is unlawful or infringing.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
Paid features are billed through the app stores (Apple / Google) under their terms; manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its original study content, and questions are owned by us or our licensors. Content you create (your notes and records) remains yours; you grant us the rights needed to store and display it back to you.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the app. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes and termination
We may update the app or these terms; material changes will be notified in the app. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
